An educational mobile phone application on sexual and
reproductive health and implement a ‘flipped classroom’ approach to
teaching the subject in schools in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Proof of
concept will be demonstrated by:
• Students receiving the ‘flipped classroom’ approach will be having a deeper
and more complex understanding of sexual and reproductive health than
students receiving conventional teaching methods as shown by higher
knowledge scores, higher satisfaction index and positive behaviour changes
among intervention group at the end of the class and at end of the study.
• Mobile app will be used by more than 90% of students and will have
acceptability of at least 80% of parents in the intervention group.
